The Disney Clique: Who’s In, Who’s Out?
We chatted with Wizards of Waverly Place star and Selena Gomez BFF Jennifer Stone over at the Bedtime Stories premiere in H'wood last week.
So it seems like you guys have a little Disney circle of friends off-camera?
Selena, Demi [Lovato] and I are all from Texas, and a lot of us hung out beforehand. Even if we didn't, we had something in common when we met out here. We're really like one big family.
Can't help but notice Miley Cyrus wasn't mentioned. Does she get along with you girls?
Kevin Jonas Avoids Amorous Fan, Keeps Rockin'
Showing off some smooth stage moves, Kevin Jonas gives a smooch-seeking fangirl the slip. If this rock 'n' roll thing doesn't work out, Kevin might have a future in the NFL, slipping tackles with his badass spin moves.
Who's the Most Underrated Teen Star?
Can you list the most underrated teen stars of this century, like maybe Leighton Meester, or, uh, Brenda Song?
—F.S.G.
If I say Leighton Meester, will you stop sending me questions about Brenda Song? Please? Do we have a deal? Meantime, forget Miley Cyrus. Rent season four of The Wire and check out Jermaine Crawford, now 16, and the ridiculously hot, cradle-robbery-worthy Tristan Wilds, 19, who's currently being wasted on the revamped 90210.
I am a huge Jonas Brothers fan, and I was wondering if either Joe or Kevin voted? If so, who did they vote for? I'm hoping that if they did vote that they voted for John McCain.

Do Movie Star Dogs Get Paid?
I just watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua and I wonder if these dog "actors" get paid? They sure make lots and lots of cash for Disney.
—Jefry, Indonesia
Let's put it this way: Those puppies in the upcoming Marley & Me don't make nearly so much as Jennifer Aniston, even if some of them are much cuter.
The average pay for an "animal actor" is a few hundred a day; a feature film could earn a pooch into the tens of thousands. As for who exactly gets the money, the animal's owner and the pet's talent agency each take a cut. But caring for Hollywood dogs costs a bundle, and oftentimes, I'm told, the venture turns out to be a wash. Or a doggy bath.
Where can you send the Jonas Brothers fan mail?

Joe Jonas: "Maybe the Heart Moved On"
Apparently, Taylor Swift's none-too-subtle noncomments about Joe Jonas have reached his well-formed ears.
Because he and his brothers are blogging about it.
While saying "it's our normal rule to avoid talking about our private lives," the singer and his fellow JoBros Nick and Kevin have taken to MySpace to give his side of the sort-of story.
"I never cheated on a girlfriend," writes Joe. "Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on."
Maybe, indeed. Moreover, Joe hasn't dumped anyone with a "27 second" phone call, either.
"Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call," he continues.

Disney Trying to Cure Hannah Montana Diabetes Plot
Hannah Montana's latest checkup resulted in a troubling diagnosis.
The Disney Channel confirmed to E! News that the network scrapped the episode it had intended to open the hit series' third season—an episode titled "No Sugar, Sugar" that features a character (Hannah's pal Oliver) dealing with diabetes—after some initial concerns as to how the disease was portrayed.
According to a network executive, the Disney Channel's Standards and Practices team consulted with medical experts during the script-writing process "to inform the story and be sure it was told responsibly."
"Notwithstanding the measures we took, and based on the episode's preview and early feedback from parents, we removed the episode from Sunday's schedule and are now reevaluating it," the Disney rep said.
Can I Send a Gift to Miley or the Jonas Brothers?
If I wanted to send a gift to a celebrity, how could I make sure they got it?
—Dee Bee
Easy: by paying someone. For example, at the recent Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals benefit in Las Vegas, the Jonas Brothers received a bunch of very nice Xbox equipment (consoles, Lips, Guitar Hero World Tour, etc.).
The Xbox people hired a gifting firm called Distinctive Assets to ensure that only authentic Jonases received the booty. They built a lounge and staffed it with gifting gurus who weeded out stars from grifters. So when the Jonas Bros. came through, their purity rings gleaming, they were personally connected with their gifts, and everyone went away happy.
But maybe you don't have an extra $5,000 to $20,000 for this. Or you just want to send Miley Cyrus a teddy bear. Your gift has a better chance of hitting home with a few simple tips...
Casting Couch: Jonas Bros Ready for Farting
The Jonas Brothers are taking their dreamy selves to the big screen, with a little help from a seriously flatulent canine.
Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas, along with younger brother Frankie (aka the Bonus Jonas) will make their first feature-film foray toplining Walter the Farting Dog. Based on the hugely popular kids' books, the film focuses on some musical siblings (apparently the Jonases subscribe to the Method acting camp) who must take care of their aunt's odiferous pooch.
According to Variety, another set of famous siblings obsessed with bodily function hijinks, Bobby and Peter Farrelly, are in talks to direct for 20th Century Fox.
Among the other A-listers taking a spin on today's casting couch: Natalie Portman, Amy Adams and Jennifer Lopez...
New "Lovebug" Video Proves Jonas Brothers Were Even Cuter in the 1940s
The Jonas Brothers premiered their new music video for "Lovebug" last night on the Disney Channel, and it’s everything we’ve come to expect from them—adorable, magical and overly cheesy enough to push it into the “aw, these boys are too cute” category.
The video is set in the '40s and follows a couple as they fall in love and separate during the war, but it's hard to pay attention to the thin premise when the boys are killing it in their retro getups. The Notebook plus the JoBros really is the perfect recipe for some swooning.
Check it out, let us know if you agree that the boys should ditch their skinny pants for some classic '40s threads. Also, does anyone else see some Sylar from Heroes in Joe Jonas with those glasses, caterpillar eyebrows and slicked-back hair?
The Making of the Jonas Brothers' Lovebug
The Jonas Brothers are offering up a behind-the-scenes look at their latest music video, "Lovebug," which premieres on the Disney Channel and online Oct. 19.
"This is a period piece," explains Kevin. "You get thrown into this world, this love story."
Adds Nick: "This video is all about trying new things and really trying to take the audience somewhere."
We're game—as long as the slicked-back hair is a one-time-only experiment.
A-List Secrets: Is This Miley-Justin Thing Legal?
I hear Miley Cyrus is dating some guy named Justin Gaston. I also hear he's 20. Is it illegal for them to be dating because she's 15, or is it OK because she's famous?
—Megan, Atlanta, Ga.
If you are implying that Ms. Miley Cyrus, who has shielded herself with a purity ring to ward off sexing of any kind, would ever engage in nonvirgin-like relations with her gentleman friend—well! I! Never! Ms. Cyrus is as pure as a spring emanating from a Tibetan peak, and I know because her PR machine says so.
Let's stoop to your febrile level for a minute, here. To answer your question in detail, there is no law in California governing dating between minors. Dating, as in, going to a Pussycat Dolls show and then sleeping by oneself in one's bubblegum-pink Barbie bed.
But if you are asking about intimate contact between Cyrus and Gaston, and what criminal charges such a union might trigger, well, that's a different story...
