Nick Hogan to Join the Jailhouse Masses
Nick Hogan is moving into the big part of the Big House.
The wrestling scion, who's currently serving eight months in a Florida jail for a DUI crash that left his passenger irreparably injured, will be moved on July 27—his 18th birthday—from the space he's currently sharing with fellow juvenile offenders into the general population.
Contrary to a TMZ report that he was switching facilities, Hogan, whose real last name is Bollea, is just going to be bunking in another part of the same jail, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. Jim Borden told E! News Wednesday.
Keanu Says Pap Caused His Own Downfall
Keanu Reeves swears that the paparazzo who's suing him fell down with no help from the actor's Porsche.
Alison Silva's feet "tripped over each other," the Matrix star stated in a declaration filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court in response to Silva's accusation that Reeves purposely knocked him over with his car while pulling out of a parking spot last year, leaving him with serious bodily injuries, as well as "severe shock and injuries to the nervous system and person."
Reeves' camp is looking to have part of the shutterbug's negligence suit dismissed, including his request for punitive damages.
Keanu's Depo Won't Leave Legal Matrix
Keanu Reeves' next court date will remain his own private session.
A judge has granted the actor's request to seal the transcript and tape of his deposition pertaining to a paparazzo's negligence lawsuit, deeming it a "reasonable request."
"I expect everyone to comply in good faith," Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth A. Grimes said Monday. "I do not view this as an attempt by the defense to take unfair advantage of the plaintiff."
DA Rolls Over on Britney Foot-Fault Case
Britney Spears' hands are clean as far as the paparazzi's feet are concerned.
The Los Angeles District Attorney has declined to file charges against the tarnished popster, stemming from a photographer's claim that she drove over his foot in November while attempting to steer through the usual shutterbug scrum outside the Four Seasons hotel, E! News confirms.
After reviewing footage of the crowd at the scene, shot by one of the paparazzi on hand, authorities concluded that the "only way the victim’s foot could have been where the video indicates it to be was by the victim placing it in that location," according to the district attorney's report. “There was a lot of noise and confusion as the photographers were jockeying for position. Marcia Crossed on the Road
Marcia Cross hit a bump in the road yesterday.
The Desperate Housewives star was behind the wheel Wednesday afternoon when her Lexus RX collided with another car, which, judging from pictures taken at the scene, sustained a significant amount of front-end damage.
Nick Hogan Gives Up Solitaire
Nick Hogan's got himself some company.
Two days after a judge denied his request to be transferred out of solitary confinement, Hulk Hogan's son, who's serving time for a DUI crash that seriously injured his friend, was moved into a communal cell after a routine assessment of the ever-in-flux jail population, according to a spokeswoman for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Nick Hogan Requests Change of Scene
Hulk Hogan's son has had about enough of himself for now.
Nick Hogan, who, after being sentenced to eight months in jail, has been cooling his heels in solitary confinement because he's too young to join the general population, filed a motion asking that he be placed on house arrest until July 27, his 18th birthday, or moved into the minimum-security lockup.
Because Hogan, whose real last name is Bollea, is a minor, he has been isolated in a maximum-security cell at Pinellas County Jail, according to his attorney, Kevin Hayslett, who says the teen has lost at least 10 pounds and has no access to a telephone or TV, privileges enjoyed by inmates serving time for similar offenses.
Lawyer: Keanu's No More Popular Than O.J.
He may have crossed big-screen paths with Abe Lincoln, but the real-life Keanu Reeves is "certainly not more important than the president of the United States."
So said the lawyer representing a paparazzo who's suing Reeves in arguing that there's no reason to seal the actor's upcoming deposition, per documents filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Noting that former President Bill Clinton's testimony during the Monica Lewinsky scandal had been televised, attorney Joseph Farzam also aruged that Reeves is no more "popular than O.J. Simpson, whose deposition and in fact entire trial proceedings were televised."
"Although he has fans and a few of his movies have been quite popular, the public has not shown much interest in his public private life unlike Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and
Anna Nicole Smith," Farzam continued.
Another Hogan, Another Car Accident
Wanna popstar Brooke Hogan learned an important lesson from her younger brother's August 2007 car accident: Buckle up.
The 20-year-old daughter of wrestler Hulk Hogan was coasting with a friend Sunday afternoon on Florida's Bayside Bridge when the driver of a 1997 Toyota lost control, hit her 2008 Mercedes head-on and pushed it into a concrete wall. Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt and no injuries were reported.
According to the police report, a witness said the other driver was speeding.
Brooke's accident happened just 17 days after her 17-year-old brother, Nick Hogan, was sentenced to eight months behind bars for an accident that left his best friend permanently brain damaged. The younger Hogan was racing his vehicle before losing control of it and hitting a tree. His passenger, John Graziano, 22, was not buckled in at the time.

Lane Garrison Under Heavier Lock and Key
UPDATE: The California Department of Corrections has confirmed the relocation is a done deal.
"Inmate Garrison was transferred to the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran (CSATF). It is the same prison Robert Downey Jr. was housed in," says department spokeswoman Terry Thornton. "I cannot go into the reasons for the transfer, but the transfer is for the benefit of the inmate."

The trials and tribulations of Lane Garrison continue.
Despite reports of good behavior and a possible early release, E! News has exclusively learned that the former Prison Break actor was transferred from a medium-security facility to tougher digs, his sixth new home and ninth transfer since being locked up for vehicular manslaughter.
Garrison, called a "model inmate" by a prison insider, was recently moved from Golden State Correctional Facility near Bakersfield, Cailf., to the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Corcoran, a medium/maximum-security lockup adjacent to Corcoran State Prison, which is currently home to Charles Manson and Bobby Kennedy assassin Sirhan Sirhan.
Breaking News
Britney's Latest Smash Hit!
Britney Spears might be a crummy driver, but she's apparently a gracious host.
Spears was tooling around Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills in her convertible Mercedes SL when she rear-ended a red 1998 Ford Explorer at about 2 p.m. today.
Sources tell E! News that Spears' bodyguard jumped out to talk down the other motorist, and the "Toxic" songbird hopped into the passenger seat, just as she did last month when she was involved in a similar fender-bender on Los Angeles' 101 Freeway.
Edith Cortese, the woman in the Explorer, then followed Team Spears back to the singer's gated home and was invited inside. For the return trip, the singer's bodyguard took the wheel of the Mercedes, which seemed to fare the worst in the collision, suffering noticeable front-end damage.
A source says Cortese is being completely cooperative and only went to Spears' house to exchange information because "there were so many photographers around." Shocking.
Los Angeles police said they were aware of an incident involving Spears but did not have any immediate details; neither did the Beverly Hills cops.
Dad Jamie Spears had barred his daughter from driving since her January meltdown before finally relenting last month. Shortly thereafter, on April 12, the singer collided with another vehicle, but there were no injuries and no citations were issued.
Move Over, Batman. We Got Barrymore
Drew Barrymore: Hollywood star and budding crimefighter.
The actress was cruising the mean streets of West Hollywood Monday morning when her car was tagged by another vehicle.
The rear-ended Barrymore was not injured, says West Hollywood Sheriff's Lt. Lajana Haselrig, but the actress seemingly took offense when the other motorist sped from the scene without exchanging insurance information...or even asking for an autograph.
Our hero apparently took off after the hit-and-runner, tailing the baddie long enough to jot down his license plate number.
The offending motorist remains at large, says Haselrig, who wouldn't confirm that Barrymore gave chase.
But the officer acknowledges that someone (wink-wink) did provide the digits: "We have a plate and it is currently under investigation."
All in a day's work for one of Charlie's Angels.
