Meet The Cast
Denise
Richards has lived the life most people only dream of: a movie star, Bond girl, model and mother. However, these days are no fairy tale. Between a high-profile divorce and custody battle and losing her mother to cancer, Denise's life is, well, complicated. But with her father's companionship, loyal friends by her side, two gorgeous girls under foot and a veritable menagerie to care for at home, Denise is moving on—and up! Want more on Denise? Michelle
The Connection: Denise's younger sister. The two have been close their entire lives. A loving person, Michelle looks up to her big sister, but doesn't kowtow to her—she keeps her grounded.
The Complication: She represents the other path Denise could have chosen: settling down with a stable, nuclear family.
Irv
The Connection: Denise's dad. Irv recently lost his wife, Joni, and is currently fixing up a room in Denise's house with plans for staying in it.
The Complication: Dad's living with his daughter, need we say more? OK, there are small-town, Midwest values that sometimes clash with Denise's Hollywood lifestyle.
Sami & Lola
The Connection: Denise's adorable little girls, ages 4 and 3
The Complication: Cute as buttons, fer sure, but two tiny tots are bound to present a challenge to any single mom.
Kim
The Connection: Denise's best friend for more than 20 years. She's been there for all the ups and downs in Denise's life.
The Complication: Though she feels Denise is too compassionate at times, Kim will always be there for her and will always be honest, no matter what.
Trish
The Connection: Another longtime friend of Denise. They feel they bond well because they're both Midwest girls. Trish is also married to Denise's chiropractor, Steve.
The Complication: Trish is always rarin' to go out with Denise and have a good time. Nothin' wrong with that...is there?
Sho
The Connection: One of Denise's two personal assistants, Sho works hard (and constantly).
The Complication: If Sho was doing his job, Denise wouldn't need two assistants.
